Digital signage is used to advertise and build awareness of products. Unlike print signs, digital signage can be changed remotely and almost instantly. Images and text is displayed using LED or LCD monitors, but there are some digital signs that use projection.
The signs can be connected to the internet in order to change advertising at a moment's notice. It's a tool that can be used to interact with customers and act as entertainment when sales associates or employees are busy with other customers.
Recent advances in technology have allowed security to become tighter and more protective. Access Technologies offers several devices, programs, and services to keep school and college campuses safe.
Maintaining your store’s weekly ads, changing sale price tags, and new promotional signage no longer has to be a time consuming part of your job with the help of Access Technologies. Digital signage is a new innovation for communications within a business that uses a network of digital displays to distribute content that can be managed from a central source.
“Access Technologies installed digital signage on the commuter trains and at each station of the New Mexico Rail Runner Express. From a central facility, we can send individual messages, including audio, to each platform or train car separately. These include safety and schedule-related messages or pertinent traffic information for the surrounding roadways around each station. In addition, they developed a digital information system on the trains which provides separate content to each train on our 99-mile system. This was a custom design to integrate into our existing radio backbone, and it’s allowed us to integrate advertising on the trains to provide revenue to MRCOG. Access Technologies was easy to work with, technically competent, and the best part-- there were no ‘surprises’ in the implementation of the digital signage systems.”
